This page allows you to send us directly your goose collar sightings (past or present). All you need to do is fill out the form below and submit it. By doing so you will be able to obtain the sighting history of that particular goose since it received its collar. You can also submit your sightings by email.
It is possible to quickly submit more than one sighting from one location. In step 1 you enter the information about the location of the sighting.Then, in step 2, you enter the collar(s) you observed. You repeat the 2 steps only if you observed collars from different locations.
Note that you can only submit Greater Snow Goose COLLARS sightings with this form. If you have seen a Greater Snow Goose with a coded color band, please report this observation to us by email. If you have seen any type of marker on another goose species, please submit your sighting to the Bird Banding Laboratory using their electronic form or by calling 1-800-327-BAND (2263). Your sightings will be forwarded to the right research team.
